E&C Charcoal is Africa’s largest manufacturer and exporter of superior charcoal, briquettes and lumpwood, it has twice won the highly prestigious State President's Award for export achievement.
E&C Charcoal has 400 employees, 40 000 square metres of factory space, which is located 120km from Africa's biggest Port, Durban.
Apart from the South African market, our products are also in demand internationally. Owing to our reputation for QUALITY, SERVICE and RELIABILITY, nearly half of what we manufacture is exported to the majority of the countries in Europe.
From the 1st November 2019 all our manufacture of charcoal will be 100% FSC as the company will only purchase timber from 100% FSC suppliers.
To mark this momentous occasion we celebrated our 40 years with our dedicated and hard working team, who without, this milestone would never have been achieved!!!
